The Minnesota Twins signed right-handed pitcher German Marquez to a minor league deal ahead of their series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Marquez, 31, was released by the San Diego Padres earlier this week after they made roster changes at the trade deadline. He will report to Triple-A St. Paul as he looks to revive his career with Minnesota.
