Two Auburn players rank in CBS Sports' top 150 for college football

CBS Sports has ranked Auburn Tigers quarterback Byrum Brown at No. 17 and linebacker Xavier Atkins at No. 17 in its top 150 players list. Brown, known for his dual-threat capabilities, threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for over 1,000 yards last season. Atkins, a key player on defense, had 84 tackles and nine sacks in the previous season and was instrumental in the Tigers’ defensive schemes. Both players were highlighted during SEC Media Days, with Atkins earning a spot on the Preseason All-SEC First Team. Their performances will be pivotal as Auburn aims to improve this fall.
