Two Blue Jackets players ranked among NHL's top pending UFAs

With NHL free agency nearing on July 1, two Columbus Blue Jackets players have been recognized as top pending unrestricted free agents (UFAs). Mason Marchment ranks 10th and Boone Jenner 12th in Chris Johnston's recent list published in The Athletic. Marchment had a productive season with 15 goals and 32 points in 39 games after joining from the Seattle Kraken. Jenner, the Blue Jackets' captain for the past five seasons, faces a pivotal decision as he considers testing the market. Both players could attract significant interest if they do not re-sign with Columbus. The next major event for the Blue Jackets is the NHL Draft on June 26-27, where they hold the 14th overall pick.
