Two Chicago neighborhoods propose sites for new Bears stadium
Summary

Two Illinois areas are seeking to become the new home for the Chicago Bears after the team announced plans to move to Indiana due to legislative failures in Illinois. Lawmakers in McCook and a district on the Southeast Side of Chicago have proposed sites they believe are suitable for a stadium. McCook's mayor offered a deal where the Bears could build a $2 billion stadium on land provided for free, while other proposals include capped property taxes. The Bears had initially announced their relocation following failed legislation aimed at keeping them in Illinois.
