Two former Pelicans listed as probable Hall of Fame candidates

Holiday, a two-time champion and six-time All-Defensive player, is also seen as having a solid chance, though not as a first-ballot selection. The New Orleans Pelicans have yet to have a Hall of Famer on their roster, a streak that might end with Davis and Holiday's eventual retirements. Chris Paul, a former Pelican, is already viewed as a certain first-ballot inductee following his retirement last year.
