Two former Terps named to USA World Cup hockey roster

The United States has announced its 20-person roster for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup, featuring two former Maryland Terrapins. Leah Crouse, who played at Maryland in 2022 and currently competes with Tokyo Hockey, has earned 72 caps for the national team. Emma DeBerdine, also a former Terp and one of the team’s captains, has 69 caps and took a break from school for Olympic play. The tournament is set to occur from August 15-30 in Belgium and the Netherlands.
