Two Northeast Florida coaches named best in state for track and field

Steven Bellamy of Raines and Ricky Fields of Creekside have been recognized as the top coaches in Florida for 2026 by the Florida Dairy Farmers Awards. Bellamy led Raines to a Class 2A team championship at the FHSAA meet, marking the school’s fourth overall title and first since 1998. Fields coached Creekside to a Class 4A championship by two points over St. Thomas Aquinas, securing the win with a standout performance in the 4x400 relay. This award comes after their respective teams’ successful seasons in May.
