Two Panthers named among NFL's 100 most important players for 2026

Jaelan Phillips and Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers are listed among the NFL's 100 most important players for the 2026 season, ranking at No. 45 and No. 46, respectively. Phillips, an edge rusher signed to a four-year, $120 million contract, is expected to significantly impact the team's pass rush. Young, the former No. 1 overall pick, aims to improve his performance after struggling in specific metrics last season. Both players are crucial as the Panthers seek to build on their NFC South title from the previous year, with this season potentially shaping the quarterback's future with the franchise.
