Two-way prospect Garrett Harper commits to Florida State baseball team

Florida State University secured a commitment from two-way player Garrett Harper for its 2028 recruiting class. Harper, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder from Cocoa Beach, Florida, measures 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds. He originally belonged to the 2029 class before reclassifying earlier this year. During his freshman season at Cocoa Beach High School, Harper hit.442 and recorded a 2.07 ERA across 44 innings on the mound while striking out 69 batters. He joins pitchers Brody Radwick and Sid Goecke along with infielder Alex Rodriguez as the fourth commitment for the Seminoles in this recruiting cycle.
