Ty Peeples transfers from Georgia to FSU baseball for next season

Ty Peeples, a former outfielder for the Georgia Bulldogs, has committed to the Florida State Seminoles baseball team, announcing his decision on social media. Peeples featured in 32 games during his freshman year, collecting five hits and three stolen bases. He joins FSU as the first outfield transfer of the offseason and will compete for a starting position. Peeples was previously a top recruit in Georgia, ranked No. 1 in his class by Perfect Game and selected in the 20th round of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. He is FSU's third transfer addition this offseason, following pitcher Cameron Suchy and two-way player Jackson McKenzie.
