Ty Redmond enters second season with Tennessee football team

Cornerback Ty Redmond begins his sophomore season with the Tennessee Volunteers in 2026. He had a strong freshman year, making 43 tackles and recording three interceptions in 13 appearances, with 12 starts. Redmond also led the SEC in passes defended, recording 15. Additionally, he earned multiple honors, including a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. A native of Milton, Georgia, Redmond chose Tennessee over Ohio State and North Carolina State and participated in spring practices in January 2025.
