Ty Simpson impresses at Rams training camp in recent practice

Ty Simpson showcased his skills during the Los Angeles Rams training camp held on July 27, 2026, at Loyola Marymount University. The rookie quarterback drew attention with several impressive passes on a day when reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford had the day off. Rams head coach Sean McVay noted that Simpson displayed good poise and the ability to progress through plays. This practice session served as a crucial opportunity for Simpson to gain more reps in a fuller game-like setting. As Simpson adapts to the Rams' offensive scheme, he aims to build on this encouraging performance in future practices.
