Tyler Minick transfers from UConn to Texas A&M baseball

Tyler Minick, a former All-American infielder from UConn, has committed to Texas A&M baseball. He announced his transfer on social media. Minick had a standout sophomore season in 2025, hitting.362 with 18 home runs. Although he played only 27 games in 2026 with less success, he will have two seasons of eligibility at Texas A&M. This transfer adds to the Aggies' efforts to bolster their roster, as Minick joins former Dallas Baptist outfielder Dylan Schlaegel, who also committed on the same day.
