Tyler Morton impresses while Liverpool academy product Adam Wharton struggles

In a UEFA Europa League match on October 16, Tyler Morton showcased his midfield abilities as his team Lyon defeated Crystal Palace 3-2. Morton recorded 67 touches and completed 50 of 56 passes, outshining fellow midfielder Adam Wharton, who managed 58 touches and 45 of 51 passes completed. Both players were on the field for the full 90 minutes, but Morton demonstrated superior control in the game. Liverpool, currently seeking a new midfielder, may find Morton a viable option given his connection with the club and favorable financial terms related to his potential signing.
