Tyler Shough preparing for sophomore season with Saints in 2026

Summary

Tyler Shough enters his second NFL season with the New Orleans Saints, following a surprising rookie campaign. As the Saints' starting quarterback, he displayed potential last season with four top-12 fantasy finishes. However, concerns linger about his immediate output due to a hamstring injury to rookie receiver Jordyn Tyson, which impacts the team's passing attack. Although the Saints' offensive scheme could enhance overall production, Shough is currently viewed as a risky fantasy option for the early part of the season until the receiving corps stabilizes. Optimism around Tyson's recovery could lead to a stronger late-season performance from Shough.
