Haliburton, who previously identified as a Milwaukee Brewers fan, claims his relationship with the team soured after they rescinded a previous invitation following his performance against the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Since that series, the Pacers star has publicly declared himself a free agent regarding his MLB allegiances. Haliburton is currently preparing for the 2026-27 NBA season after missing the previous year due to an Achilles tendon rupture sustained during the 2025 NBA Finals.
