Tyrese Haliburton to play in Pacers preseason game against Thunder

Tyrese Haliburton is set to play for the Indiana Pacers in their preseason game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. He missed the previous game against the Atlanta Hawks due to a right ankle tweak but is returning to the court in Oklahoma City, where he tore his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Haliburton has expressed a desire to contribute and focus on competing rather than his past injury during this visit. He is expected to make his official season debut with the Pacers on October 21 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
