Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid lead Sixers in preseason battle vs. Celtics

In their preseason finale on October 16, the Philadelphia 76ers faced the Boston Celtics at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The Sixers initially struggled, losing the first quarter 34-28, but adjusted their play in the following quarters. Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid provided offensive stability, allowing the Sixers to outscore the Celtics in the second and third quarters. However, a strong fourth quarter from the Celtics forced overtime, where the game remained competitive. Embiid finished with 27 points, while Maxey contributed 22 as the Sixers prepare for the regular season opener next week.
