Tyrie Davis-Winn visits Florida State during season opener win

Four-star offensive tackle Tyrie Davis-Winn attended Florida State’s 34-17 season-opening victory over New Mexico State in Tallahassee. The Pennsylvania-based recruit, currently ranked as the No. 218 overall prospect in his class, toured campus and met with coaching staff members Herb Hand and Manrey Saint-Amour. The conversation between the prospect and coaches focused on game development and the trajectory of the Florida State program. Davis-Winn noted the positive impression left by the facilities and the game-day environment during his first visit to the school. He plans to schedule a return visit to the campus later this season to continue building a relationship with the program.
