Tyrone Burrus Jr. will not face charges after arrest in Bloomington

Indiana football player Tyrone Burrus Jr. will not face charges following his arrest on Thursday for strangulation and domestic battery. Burrus was released from the Monroe County jail the next day after being held overnight. According to police, an argument with Kira Marie Motley escalated, involving mutual accusations of battery. Both were arrested, but prosecutors determined the case could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Indiana Athletics has yet to comment further on the situation. Burrus was part of the team's defensive line and had a promising role heading into the new season.
