Tyson Fury targets trilogy bout with Oleksandr Usyk after Joshua talks stall
Summary

Tyson Fury has shifted his focus to a third fight with Oleksandr Usyk following the collapse of negotiations for a proposed November 20 bout against Anthony Joshua. The matchup with Joshua failed to materialize due to disagreements over the venue and the extent of TKO’s involvement in the event. Fury initially favored a location at Madison Square Garden in New York City, whereas Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing advocated for the contest to occur in London. Fury subsequently announced on social media that a trilogy fight with Usyk is now his primary priority for November. Usyk confirmed his interest in the proposal, responding to Fury via social media to signal his willingness to meet in the ring again. The two fighters have already faced each other twice in their professional careers.
