Tyus Battle joins Syracuse men's basketball as Director of Player Development

Former Syracuse standout Tyus Battle has been named the Director of Player Development for the Orange, as announced by head coach Gerry McNamara. Battle, who played for Syracuse from 2016 to 2019, will focus on helping players maximize their potential through individual workouts and tailored development plans. This role marks the first of its kind for Syracuse's coaching staff, which has seen recent additions including a Director of Player Engagement. The Orange, under McNamara's leadership, started summer practice during the first week of June, indicating a focus on preparing for the upcoming season.
