Ubaid Hussain secures ONE Championship contract after winning at Lumpinee Stadium

Ubaid Hussain earned a US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship following a unanimous decision victory over Isannuea Sor Sasiwat. The flyweight Muay Thai bout took place last Friday, August 28, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok during The Inner Circle 28. Hussain, a 20-year-old fighter from Leeds, improved his professional record to 17-0 and his standing within the promotion to 8-0. He dominated the second and third rounds with a combination of punches and elbows after dropping his opponent with a body knee in the opening round. Hussain now intends to target the flyweight Muay Thai title currently held by Asadula Imangazaliev. He expressed interest in competing on upcoming event cards in Japan or Qatar as he continues his progression in the division.
