UConn alums Alex Karaban and Tarris Reed meet four times this NBA season

Alex Karaban and Tarris Reed Jr., former UConn players, are now NBA rookies for the Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs, respectively. The NBA has scheduled four matchups between the teams, with three games before Thanksgiving. Their seasons begin with the Spurs facing the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct. 20, and the Kings playing the LA Clippers on Oct. 21. Both teams have limited Northeast game appearances, with Karaban's Kings visiting only in 2027 while the Spurs participate in six games in the region this winter and spring.
