UConn references 2026 Elite Eight victory in nonconference schedule release

UConn included a reference to its 2026 Elite Eight victory over Duke in the team's official 2026-27 nonconference schedule announcement released Thursday. The program listed the result of the previous meeting by quoting the play-by-play broadcast call from the game, in which Braylon Mullins hit a 35-foot buzzer-beater to secure the win. The shot capped a comeback from a 19-point first-half deficit. Duke currently holds a 6-5 all-time advantage in the series against UConn, with both programs having met six times in the NCAA Tournament.
