UConn's Azzi Fudd to be inducted into Huskies of Honor

Azzi Fudd will be inducted into the Huskies of Honor on Sunday at Gampel Pavilion, prior to an upcoming game between the UConn women's basketball team and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Fudd, a senior and two-time All-Big East selection, becomes the 25th player recognized for her achievements at UConn, which include two All-America selections and numerous academic honors. She played a pivotal role in UConn’s 2025 NCAA championship victory and was the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Despite a knee injury limiting her debut WNBA season, Fudd earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team after averaging over 13 points per game.
