UEFA appoints Michael Oliver to officiate Real Madrid versus Inter match

UEFA has selected English referee Michael Oliver to lead the officiating team for Tuesday’s Champions League match between Real Madrid and Inter at the Estadio Bernabéu. The appointment includes Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring as assistant referees, with Sam Barrott serving as the fourth official. Michael Salisbury will act as the assistant video assistant referee, while Scottish official Andrew Dallas is assigned to VAR duties. Inter enters the fixture following a 3-2 victory against Napoli, though the squad must evaluate the fitness of Federico Dimarco after the player suffered a knee sprain during that contest. Real Madrid heads into the match following a recent league loss to Real Betis. This meeting marks an return to the Bernabéu for Inter, the site where the club claimed the 2010 Champions League title.
