UEFA introduces Clear Line guidance for refereeing consistency

UEFA has launched Clear Line, a new platform aimed at standardizing refereeing decisions in soccer. The initiative features over 150 scenarios detailing the interpretation of the Laws of the Game and guiding VAR interventions at both domestic and UEFA competition levels. UEFA Refereeing Director Roberto Rosetti emphasized that the platform serves as a central reference for match officials, fostering greater consistency in decision-making. The Clear Line initiative is intended to enhance understanding among players, coaches, and fans by clarifying the reasoning behind match officials' choices.
