Uefa confirmed it will continue efforts to remove Gianni Infantino as Fifa president despite withdrawing its planned boycott of Fifa tournaments. The boycott's cancellation, set to be finalized at a Uefa executive committee meeting in Monaco, allows six European teams to participate in the upcoming Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. Uefa aims to identify a candidate to challenge Infantino in the March election, with Victor Montagliani a potential option. A close vote is anticipated, which may undermine Infantino's legitimacy even if he wins.
