During Saturday’s UFC Abu Dhabi broadcast, it was announced that Parnasse has been booked to fight Dan Hooker in the headliner of UFC Paris. The event takes place Sept. 5 at Accor Arena. Parnasse, a former two-division KSW champion, made his United States debut in May competing on the Rousey vs. Carano event on the main card. Parnasse destroyed Kenneth Cross in the first round to pick up his fifth consecutive victory. Parnasse went 14-2 as a member of the KSW roster and is one of the more exciting UFC signings in recent memory. Hooker looks to get back on track following back-to-back stoppage losses. In his most recent bout, “Hangman” was stopped by Benoit Saint Denis at Feburary’s UFC 325 event, and three months prior, was dominated and submitted by top contender Arman Tsarukyan in the main event of UFC Qatar this past November.
