Next month, the biggest event of the year takes place when the UFC hosts an event on the South Lawn of the White House, headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. But while that’s the main event, the co-main event interim heavyweight title fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane is perhaps even more anticipated, as “Poatan” has a chance to make history and become the first-ever three-division UFC champion. And that history-making potential is front and center in the latest promo from the UFC. On Saturday, the world’s leading MMA promotion dropped a new trailer video for UFC White House, foregoing the previous AI-made one for a more in-depth look at the co-main event between Pereira and Gane. The video highlights Pereira’s incredible combat sports journey, from being a two-division kickboxing champion to a two-division UFC champion, and now attempting to do something no one has ever done before.
