UFL co-owner comments on market stability for 2027

UFL co-owner Mike Repole stated there is an 80 percent chance the league's eight markets for 2026 will remain unchanged for 2027. Following the 2025 season, the UFL relocated three teams from Detroit, Memphis, and San Antonio to new locations in Columbus, Orlando, and Louisville. The other markets currently include D.C., Birmingham, St. Louis, Houston, and Dallas. Attendance issues in Birmingham were highlighted, showing a 16 percent drop in 2026. The 2026 season is set to conclude with the United Bowl on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET, moving ahead despite scheduling conflicts with other major sporting events.
