UNC baseball tops West Virginia 5-2 in College World Series

UNC baseball secured a 5-2 victory against West Virginia in the College World Series on Sunday night. The Diamond Heels took an early lead with two runs in the first inning and maintained control throughout the game. Ryan Lynch started for UNC, pitching 4 2/3 innings while Walked McDuffie earned the win in relief. Caden Glauber picked up his fifth save, striking out both batters he faced. UNC will have a couple of days off before their next game on Wednesday against the winner of the upcoming Troy-West Virginia elimination game.
