UNC basketball scouts top recruits at EYBL event in Las Vegas

Michael Malone, head coach of UNC basketball, is closely evaluating prospects at the EYBL event in Las Vegas this week. This marks the first AAU recruiting cycle for the new coaching staff, with a focus on the 2027 class. Among the recruits being watched is five-star point guard Beckham Black, who recently scored 18 points in a game. The competition for Black is expected to be fierce, particularly from Arkansas, which may be viewed as a strong contender for his commitment. Coaches from several other major programs are also in attendance, including Duke and Kentucky.
