North Carolina has announced that Billy Edwards Jr. will be the starting quarterback for their season opener against TCU in Dublin. Edwards, a sixth-year player, emerged victorious over fellow transfer Miles O'Neill, who came from Texas A&M. After suffering a season-ending knee injury at Wisconsin last year, Edwards has transferred to his fourth Power Five program.
