UNC women’s basketball reveals challenging non-conference schedule

The UNC women’s basketball team released its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season. The Tar Heels will face 14 opponents outside the ACC, including notable teams such as Oklahoma and South Carolina. Both of these teams reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen last season. Carolina's schedule features nine home games and aims to properly challenge the team, which returns eight players and adds two freshmen. A key matchup includes a game against LSU on December 2, part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The season begins November 2 against Oklahoma in Paris, France.
