UNC women's volleyball splits matches at Nebraska, finishes nonconference play

The 25th-ranked UNC women’s volleyball team concluded its nonconference schedule with a 3-1 loss to top-ranked Nebraska and a 3-1 victory over FGCU over the weekend. In Friday's match against the Huskers, Carolina lost the first set 25-14 but won the second set 25-20. However, they dropped the next two sets, concluding the match with a.123 hitting percentage. In Saturday's match, UNC started strong, winning the first two sets 25-21 and 25-16 before losing the third set. They recovered to win the fourth set 25-22, marked by a.317 hitting percentage. The Tar Heels enter ACC play next, facing NC State on Friday at 7:00 PM ET, broadcast on ACCNX.
