UNCW secures Golfweek Fall Challenge victory at Caledonia Golf Club

UNCW earned its second Golfweek Fall Challenge title since 2023 after finishing 2 over par through 54 holes. The team overcame a difficult start that saw them placed toward the bottom of the field after the first five holes of the opening round. Alexis Faieta and Valencia Chang both tied for second place at 2 under, providing the necessary momentum to help the team close the gap on Campbell. Campbell finished three shots behind the winners, while freshman Miah Rivas secured individual honors for Campbell at 3 under for the week. Head coach Cindy Ho credited the team's ability to maintain focus after a slow start and noted the development of her players in navigating the challenging closing holes at the Pawley’s Island course.
