Undertaker hints at ending podcasting after contract expiration

The pro wrestling business isn’t what it once was, and gimmicks aren’t protected nearly to the level they used to be. When he retired from active wrestling, “The Phenom” moved into doing a traveling live show. Somehow, he started doing a podcast called “Six Feet Under.” It’s a relatively entertaining show but it sounds like the man himself is good and fed up with it. That’s what he told Chris Van Vliet in a recent interview, at least (via Wrestling Observer): “Not at all. No,” Undertaker responded somewhat playfully when asked if he’s having fun with the podcast. “Fanatics is actually one of the sponsors, but I’d almost rather go to the dentist and pull a tooth than do a podcast… “How much longer? Oh, man, you say years? No, we’re probably talking months. I think, yeah, when this contract rolls out, I don’t think we’ll be renewing.” It helps that ‘Taker is busy with other ventures within the industry, like his day job as head of creative for AAA, a promotion that is making headway in the United States now that its under the WWE banner. He’s done a fantastic job there, enough so that it makes sense to focus fully on that. Enough of sitting around and interviewing people. You okay with this?
