United States and Europe tie at 8-8 entering final Solheim Cup singles

The United States and Europe finished Saturday’s fourball sessions at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands with the score tied at 8-8. After the Americans lost the morning foursomes 3-1, they reversed the score in the afternoon better-ball matches to pull even in the competition. Jennifer Kupcho played a pivotal role in the final match, holing a 91-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole before adding another birdie on the 18th to secure a point for the United States. Other key results included wins for Yealimi Noh and Andrea Lee, as well as Rose Zhang and Auston Kim. Conversely, Linn Grant and Maja Stark remained undefeated for Europe, handing Lauren Coughlin and Megan Khang their first losses of the event. The teams will conclude the tournament on Sunday with 12 singles matches scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. ET.
