Unity advances to sectional championship after defeating Maroa-Forsyth 4-1

Unity baseball defeated Maroa-Forsyth 4-1 in a Class 2A sectional semifinal on June 4 at Monticello. Dane Eisenmenger delivered a strong performance, throwing a complete game while allowing only four hits and striking out eight. His two-run triple in the first inning helped establish an early 4-0 lead for the Rockets. Although Maroa-Forsyth managed to score once in the first, Unity's defense remained solid, finishing with no errors. The Rockets now prepare to face St. Joseph-Ogden in the sectional championship game on Saturday.
