University of Evansville community remembers basketball player Jordan Scott

The University of Evansville community gathered at Neu Chapel to celebrate the life of Jordan Scott, a member of the women's basketball team who died following a crash in Warrick County last Sunday. Friends, family, and former teammates from Wabash Valley College attended the service to honor her life and athletic career. During the ceremony, speakers recalled her positive influence on those around her and her dedication as an athlete. Head coach Ben Wierzba expressed that her presence would be missed by the Purple Aces program. Following the funeral service, Scott was laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
