The University of Evansville men’s soccer team plays the 22nd-ranked Louisville Cardinals at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Tuesday, September 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Evansville enters the match with an 0-3-1 record after facing several ranked opponents early in the non-conference season. Head coach Robbe Tarver intends to use this difficult schedule to prepare his roster for high-stakes competition later in the year. The Purple Aces hold a historical series lead against the Cardinals, recording an 11-6-1 record that includes a 3-1 victory during last season's meeting. This contest marks the second time this season that Evansville has hosted a ranked opponent.
