University of Hawaii athletics raises over $13 million for 2025-26

The University of Hawaii athletics department raised more than $13.2 million during the 2025-26 fiscal year, nearly doubling the previous record. Hunter Niswander, in collaboration with Kira Diehm, led the fundraising efforts. Over 7,000 donations were received, marking a record high. The fundraising strategy has shifted to a non-profit model to offer more tax benefits to donors, and a new 'Bows Athletics Club' will be established by July 2027. Membership will start at $100, providing various benefits to supporters including priority access to events.
