University of Utah Health signs jersey patch sponsorship with Utah football

The University of Utah football team will wear a jersey sponsorship patch from University of Utah Health, marking the first time in program history the team has featured such branding on its uniforms. The black-and-white logo will appear alongside a co-branded Big 12 and Monster Energy patch on game jerseys. In addition to the new jersey deal, the program confirmed that ALKEME Insurance will have its logo placed on the bumpers of team helmets. These partnerships reflect a broader trend in college athletics as departments seek new revenue streams to manage rising operational costs. Similar sponsorship models are currently utilized by other programs including BYU, Kansas, and Notre Dame. The University of Utah Health already maintains a branding presence at Rice-Eccles Stadium, where its logo has appeared on the field since the 2025 season.
