Unrivaled adds Barclays Center to professional 3x3 basketball tour

Summary

Unrivaled will return to Brooklyn for the league's third season, scheduling four regular-season 3x3 basketball games at Barclays Center on Jan. 22. These matchups will be simulcast on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. The league previously hosted its semifinal playoff games at this venue during the last season, where it attracted sold-out crowds. Commissioner Micky Lawler described the return to New York as a strategic move to showcase the league to a broad audience. President Alex Bazzell has indicated plans for a significant expansion in the number of road venues for the upcoming season. This effort to host more in-person games follows a decrease in viewership during the league's second season, despite a recorded increase in total ticket sales across the tour.
