U.S. Air Force jets conduct flyovers before the KU versus Missouri football game

Military aircraft are scheduled to perform flyovers at the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence. The 435th Fighter Training Squadron out of Randolph Air Force Base in Texas will conduct the aerial demonstrations. A team of four T-38 Talons is set to perform a practice run over David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium at noon on Thursday, Sept. 10. The aircraft will return to soar over the stadium again on Friday evening prior to kick-off. The university hosts the No. 23 Mizzou Tigers at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. This event coincides with other university athletic activities, following a recent home opener for the Kansas volleyball team against Wichita State.
