The US Open will offer a record $108 million in player compensation for the 2026 tournament, a 20% increase from 2025. The men’s and women’s singles champions will each receive $5.5 million, up from $5 million last year. This decision follows player unrest over revenue sharing and additional benefits, amid possible protests similar to those seen at Roland-Garros. The USTA has also committed $2 million towards a Player Support Program and established a Grand Slam Player Advisory Council to include player input in decision making. The US Open main draw begins on Aug. 30, and qualifying starts on Aug. 24.
