U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur features diverse field of competitors

The 39th U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur started today at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, New Jersey. A total of 132 competitors, aged 25 to over 60, are participating in this event, which runs until September 3, 2026. The participants come from a range of professions including attorneys, engineers, and surgeons, reflecting the diversity within the tournament. Qualifying golfers must be at least 25 years old and have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 9.4. This championship is one of 15 national events conducted by the U.S. Golf Association.
