Fifa has reportedly informed the Trump administration that the United States will host the 2031 Women’s World Cup. Andrew Giuliani, the executive director of the White House’s World Cup Task Force, disclosed this in an interview. Although Fifa has not yet formally awarded hosting rights, the U.S. and several other nations submitted a joint bid. A decision regarding the 2031 and 2035 tournaments is expected by the end of this year. Giuliani emphasized that U.S. hosting is contingent on policies regarding transgender athletes in women’s sports.
